Central Florida Deacon Newsletter. Hello fellow Deacons! I don’t know about you, but I am glad that the weather is finally starting to cool off, that the days are getting shorter, and pumpkin spice everything is everywhere. Not to mention, what an incredible blessing it is that we have had no hurricanes in the Atlantic so far this year! I hope that the start of fall, the school year, and life in general is going well for you, your family, and your church! If it is, or especially if it isn’t, I am here for you. Please, reach out, let’s grab a cup of something pumpkin and spend some time together this Fall. I was recently blessed with the opportunity to give the charge to three of our new brother Deacons at Lakeside Covenant in Mt. Dora. The Presbytery was also blessed with the launch of a church plant, Christ the King in Longwood. This has been such an exciting month to see how the Lord has blessed us with growth. Throughout this Fall, the Presbytery’s Deacon Committee has asked that I focus my attention on fundraising to ensure that I am able to continue serving you next year and long into the future. Of course, I will still be available to you and will be glad to serve in anyway that you need. We have some exciting events coming up, especially our MNA:DR Chainsaw Training, as well various events for many of our ministry partners.
