Administrative Deacon
As the Administrative Deacon, my goal is Equip, Support, and Connect the Deacons of the Presbytery of Central Florida.
I work for the Presbytery of Central Florida (PCA) under the leadership of the Deacon’s Committee and I am primarily charged to serve the Deacons, Diaconates, and Churches thereof. I do that in the hopes of maximizing our ability to carry on the mercy ministry of Christ; in order to alleviate suffering and need throughout Central Florida, by equipping, supporting, and connecting our Deacons.
Equip: provide training, development, and resources for Deacons.
Support: provide encouragement, care, and advocacy for Deacons.
Connect: provide service and fellowship opportunities for Deacons.
One of the keys to success in this effort is to network with agencies, ministries, organizations, and resources. If you work with or are part of any of those, I would love to meet you and see how we can partner together in caring for those in need.
Let’s Meet!
I would love to take you to breakfast, lunch, or coffee!
I am generally available and happy to travel to you,
so let me know when and where is convenient for you.
Send me an email at benjamin@cfdeacon.org
and we can set up a time and place!
Benjamin Schultz
Administrative Deacon
Benjamin was ordained as a Deacon in 2021, he graduated from seminary and was licensed by the Presbytery in 2022.
He currently serves as Chairman of the Diaconate at Lake Nona Presbyterian Church and the Administrative Deacon of the Presbytery of Central Florida.
Benjamin is passionate about the office of Deacon and carrying on Christ deed ministry by caring for those in need. He sees that diaconal ministry is the key to evangelism in an ever secularizing society because they will know us by our deeds.
Benjamin served 8 year in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves as a Military Police Officer. He is an avid reader, he plays and coaches as an ice hockey goalie, and is an armchair vexillologist, cartographer, and military historian. He and his wife, Heather, live in St. Cloud with their three children.
